MY MACAROON BAKING EXPERIMENT - PERCUBAAN KE 3 :-))

MACAROONS

Halooooo.....spt yg uolls tau macaroons ni mmg tgh hangat di pasaran skng ni. Smua org dok  cita pasai macaroons ni. Actually iolls penah wat macaroon ni last year tp masa tu nama macaroon ni lom glamer lg kt mesia..Ni kira iols nyer 3rd attempt la..1st attempt..50/50, 2nd all to the dustbin and 3rd attempt..i think still 50/50..hahahaha. Citer pjg2 pon tak guna. Jom kita tgk bahan2 nyer...

Ingredients:
80gm egg white (aged 1 day @ room temp)
60gm caster sugar
pinch of salt

90gm ground almond
140gm icing sugar

Filling;
Nutella Hazelnut Spread

Method:
1. Line 3 baking trays with baking sheet. 
2. Ground the almond & icing sugar together. Sift and put aside
3. With stand mixer using high speed, beat the egg white till foamy and gradually add caster sugar. Beat again    until glossy & stiff peak
4. Fold in the almond mixture and u can add whatever color u like at this stage
5. Spoon batter in piping bag and pipe onto the baking sheet and  let the mac rest for about 30mins
7. Preheat the oven to 140c and bake the macs for about 20-25mins 
8. Remove the macaroons and cool on a wire rack. (if ur having difficulty removing shell, spray a little water (mist) under baking sheet.. let it sit for a few sec and peel it off) 
9. Pipe the Nutella Hazelnut Spread
10. Sandwich with another macaron together.
11. Keep in the fridge to let the filling firm
